I’m back. Not sure how often/much I’ll post, but I’ll try. Pregnancy wasn’t nice to me, I weighed in yesterday (8 weeks 3 days postpartum) at 200 pounds. I am trying to eat healthy and am starting to walk 2 days a week. I am breastfeeding and need extra calories, so not sure how the weight loss will go, especially since I’m struggling with the feeding.

Keep in mind I’m not actively trying to lose weight since I’m expecting, but I am trying to maintain for a healthy pregnancy. Last week was a week from hell, I lost 5 pounds between last WIW and this WIW. I’m actually happy to have gained the weight back!
Dinner is supposed to be pork chops and lima beans. Kroger had Bolthouse smoothies on sale, 2 for $4, so I picked up 4 of those. They may end up being my lunch/dinner for the next couple of days. Trying to eat better - hopefully I’ll get some stuff to make smoothies when I do our “big” 2 week grocery this weekend.
really I do. Not sure if this is tied to pregnancy or if I’ve got a stomach bug but all I can seem to eat and keep down is crap. Looking at a healthy dinner of chicken and veggies (particularly the veggies) makes me run for the bathroom. But I have no problem with Zaxby’s or Wendy’s. This needs to END soon!!!! I lost 3lbs in one day because I couldn’t/wouldn’t eat-not good. My days have usually consisted of fruit loops and milk for breakfast, milk for lunch and whatever I could stomach and some wheat thins for dinner.
Anyone have any ideas on why it’s like this??
I feel like crap edition. I want to alternate my day from sleeping and getting sick in the bathroom edition.
NO CHANGE!!! I still weigh about 185 (I was lazy and still had my pajamas on). Monday I weighed in about 183.5.
Since I found out I was pregnant I upped my calories to 1800 a day (US Govt says 2200 for first trimester). Well, I’ve eaten 780 calories today. Honestly, I’m not even that hungry either.
*If I could figure out how to add a screen print of MFP, I would. :)

If I wasn’t pregnant, this would make me sad. Since I am pregnant, this makes me happy especially since I’m in the throes of not eating every meal and eating whatever doesn’t sound disgusting at the time.
A funny kid note: Taz and I were coming down the stairs this morning when his tummy growls. He looks up at me and grins and says, “that’s my tummy. I’m hungry.” He NEVER EVER says he’s hungry and unless he’s heard someone say it, we’ve never pointed out that when the tummy growls it might be hungry. So cute!
this one is killing my weight loss. I can’t eat as much (part of the first trimester, yay!), and my 24/7 queasiness does not help what I want to eat/can eat. Thankfully I haven’t had full on morning sickness, but last week I couldn’t eat corn flakes for breakfast. This morning I had 1/2 cup of generic fruit loops and about 1/2 cup of milk and I didn’t think I was going to be able to finish. So, I’ve been skipping meals because I feel like I can’t eat and I haven’t been exercising because I need some tylenol (I’m about to use some of the kids stuff that we have). I need the tylenol because every time I workout, the next 2 nights I have “restless leg syndrom”, mainly when I want to sleep. My joints hurt, my back hurts, I can’t sleep which means I keep Pirate Nigel up. It’s just UGH!
Sorry for the rant. I’ve been MIA dealing with this stuff and thought I should post. Now I’m going to do homework, lunch, nap, clean house for dinner guests (who are making chinese dumplings/potstickers for dinner - hopefully I can eat them)!
